About Me
My name is Barbara Juniper. I am a garden coach and mentor. I come from a long line of female gardeners, all the way back to my great grandmother. Gardening is in my genes (both kinds!) Some of my earliest memories are ones of playing with plants and hoses!  I have been a professional gardener for over thirty years, creating and maintaining gardens all around Marin. My joy is to share with others my love of the beauty and wonder found in plants and the natural world. In connecting to nature, we connect with the beauty of our own nature, pure and simple.

Vegetable Gardens
The fulfillment and joy that you can experience growing and harvesting your own food cannot be put into words. Even though we live in a bread basket of the world, as far as having access to incredible organically grown food, there is nothing like going out and harvesting your own homegrown fruits and vegetables. Not to mention eating them!
Cut Flower Gardens
Growing a cut flower garden is like having a floral shop right in your own back yard. The delight of cutting and creating bouquets for your own pleasure or as a gift to give another is truly a joy! Back to the simple pleasures of color, fragrance and form, every flower has it's own unique gift to offer. Flowers also attract important pollinators such as bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Container Gardens
Sometimes space is limited and our only option for having a garden is in containers, be they pots, planter boxes, hanging baskets or barrels.  Creating a container garden is a great way to play with color, texture, fragrance and size. Let's work together to establish a garden oasis on your own back porch, front porch, or stairway. Discover the ways in which small is beautiful!
